Nottingham Operatic Society have a Youth Group, which needs new members aged eight to 18. The group meets on Tuesdays at in Netherfield.

NODA Award
Nottingham Operatic Society Youth Group has won the Best Youth Production Award for 2008 from NODA (the National Operatic & Dramatic Association) for their production of 'Bugsy Malone'. The presentation was made at an Annual Awards Ceremony at Loughborough Town Hall on Sunday 10th May 2009. Collecting the award on behalf of the group were Damien Ebanks (Bugsy), Ami Fitzpatrick (Blousey), Liam Hall (Fat Sam), Marcus Walters (Fizzy) & Lauren Vincent (Cagey Joe). Congratulations to all the cast and to the Production team of Liz Fitzpatrick, David Hails, Elaine Powles and Nigel Newton.

West Side Story is this year's Youth Show!
In May 2010 Nottingham Operatic Society Youth Group celebrates 35 years since its first production 'Open A New Window'. We are pleased to announce that our production for 2010 is West Side Story. This is being performed at the Nottingham Playhouse from Wed 2nd to Sat 5th June 2010. Evening performances start at 7.15pm, with Wed and Sat Matinee performances starting at 2.30pm. Tickets are £10 for adults, £8 for concessions.
